    Tools for breaking down any Trick, tips for multi-level classes, understanding different student types, beginners Course Structure/Class Plans, Teaching at Hoop Conventions..... You name it, it's in there! Video classes paired with live (optional) Q&A sessions cover everything you could need whatever your level. These videos and Q&As will be added throughout May, June & July 2022

  • Community Group for Collaborations

    The private OTT Community FB Group is where you can interact and collaborate with Emma & your fellow OTT Hoopers. Emma has specially developed 12 Homework Exercises that can be done in your own time to help strengthen your brand, find your niche & improve your teaching. You'll be helping each other and giving feedback. The training is a chance to meet life-long friends from all over the world!

  • Live Zoom Classes

    Complete the compulsory video classes & homework exercises and join a group of your fellow OTTers (Online Teacher Training membERS) for 12.5hrs of group classes taught by Emma and help planning your own class. The pace you do this depends on and is decided on by your group. To receive your Certificate of Completion you will plan & teach your class to your peers and receive their feedback.

Live Sessions

  • One on One Zoom Sessions

    As soon as you enroll you can book in for your Introduction & Goal Setting One on One with Emma Kenna to make sure you maximise what you get out of the course. You have another one on one when you're in the planning stages for your final assessment so you can get 100% tailored advice on your teaching and workshop.

  • Theory Q&As

    The first live zoom Theory session runs in early June. Following that Emma will run regular Q&A sessions on different Video Class Chapters. As well as answering all your questions about video content, this provides a semi-structured time frame for video class completion and accountability for those that need it :) These sessions are optional and will be recorded for viewing in your own time.

  • Live Group Zoom Course

    5 x 2.5hr Group Zoom Workshops covering teaching techniques + lots of teaching practice. Class planning session + a zoom one on one with Emma. You will teach your new class to the rest of the group and get their feedback. The Live part of the course could start as early as August if enough OTTers are ready. Those who need more time to finish the video classes/homeworks can start their sessions later :)

Emma Kenna

Emma has been teaching hoop since 2008 and is a hugely experienced and internationally acclaimed hoop teacher. Emma’s combination of high technical expertise, extensive teaching experience, enthusiasm for sharing and love of laughter make her hard to forget! Emma was the winner of Teacher and Fire Hooper of the Year in the 2016 Hoopies, UK Hooper of the Year 2017 and is the creator and main coordinator of the SWhoop (South West Hoop Conference) which has received the award for Best Hoop event :) Emma also runs an Advanced Teacher Training program for hoop teachers (online & in-person) and particularly enjoys running online hoop classes. Emma loves to play ukulele (which she also teaches online), combining this with hooping for comedy ukehoop. She can also be found in her element MC-ing shows!
