I don't like to stay still when I hoop. I always move, stomp my feet and play with weight shifting from one leg to the other. These are execises I do to improve my flow for future performances, wanna try with me ? We will pick around 10 different leg movements that compliment our hoop tricks and see how it changes the whole dance.

⭐ Off Beat Ochogrips ⭐

HOOP REQUIREMENT: 2 Hoops
In this workshop we will learn and combine creative, offbeat ways to incorporate ocho grip into our flow. Ocho grip is not only great for doubles flow, but it opens up new possibilities for adding more hoops.
This content is novel! This workshop is not about the classic ocho grip technique involving ocho switches and passes. In this workshop we do learn the basic ocho grip hold, however we quickly move on to novel ocho grip tricks and combinations. In this class every trick that we learn gets woven into a combo. Some of the tricks that are taught in this workshop are:
-front and back ocho mandalas with and without 360 turns
-heart opener with variations including under leg toss and back of arm roll, the heart opener is a trick that I named it’s an ocho grip circuit including folds, shoulder passes, and a toss
-transitions from ocho into double wedgie
-behind the back ocho escalator
This workshop is excellent for both new double hoopers and those advanced hoopers. Tried and true, this workshop is truly good for all levels of hoopers. I’ve taught this workshop multiple times and feedback on the workshop is always positive. This workshop is truly more an intermediate/advanced workshop however I do make it accessible for beginners.

There are a million ways to turn around, but these are my very favorites. Somewhat flowy, somewhat techy, whether spinning continuously or simply turning around; this class will cover the curves, throws and spirals I use to initiate it and catch a ride.
